Your first contact is an assessment with the doctor or clinician who will also look after you. We do not split investigation and treatment between different people, because it is in the join between them that information gets lost.

An assessment within reasonable time
The first appointment is a proper assessment by a registered clinician, not a brief triage. We set aside the time it takes to work out what is actually needed.
Evidence-based treatment
We work with the methods that have research support for each condition, and follow up with the same rating instruments throughout the treatment.
The same clinician
Changing clinician in the middle of a treatment is rarely good for the outcome. We plan our staffing to avoid it.
